You can get to within 2 miles of the Lake as of April 10. You may be able to access the reservoir by 4-wheel drive vehicle, but hiking the few miles or waiting a few more weeks is recommended. Ice is gone, water temperatures are in the 40s and fishing is expected to be slow to fair.
