The river will open to fishing on Monday, April 22. Flows will be high and water temperatures very cold. Catch rates will be very low.
Best fishing for brown trout will be from the Weed Road bridge down to Crooked Creek. Brown trout are feeding extensively on aquatic and earthworms that came out during high flow events. No bait is allowed but artificials such as San Juan worms can work well.
Please call 541-883-5732 to report any bull trout captured.
