Today’s trip was a blast with a group of guys that were a ton of fun to be on the boat with. They booked the trip from a local fundraiser that I donated to for the NorCal Wildfires fast pitch softball team here in Ripon.
The bite was fast and furious in the early morning but then slowed to here and there. With a lot of opportunities and lost fish behind the boat, the guys landed 13 Kokes.
The fish are between the 30 and 40ft level, hitting on pink hoochies and Uncle Larry’s spinners behind a sling blade dodger.
Sierra Sportfishing is ready to take you fishing in the Motherload. We proudly run guided fishing trips to our local lakes including: Lake McClure, Don Pedro Reservoir, Lake Camanche, New Hogan Reservoir and New Melones.
