Ice is around 5 – 6 inches thick. Recently a 5lb rainbow was caught around the dam area using crawlers. Never go out on ice alone and I bring a rope when ice fishing. Fishing should be good now through February. John Pato Ice Fishing Derby is February 1st with a twenty dollar entry fee. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and third place with lots of raffle prizes. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
