Feb. 12th Public Meeting in Newport OR for the Central Coast spring recreational all-depth halibut season
ODFW will host its annual pre-season halibut meeting on Wednesday, February 12th, from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the ODFW Marine Resources Program Conference Room, 2040 SE Marine Science Dr., Newport.
An overview of the International Pacific Halibut Commission (IPHC) Annual Meeting and the resulting quota will be presented by staff at the meeting, followed by discussion and public input on the timing of "fixed" and "back-up" dates for the Oregon Coast Subarea (Cape Falcon to Humbug Mountain) spring all-depth halibut season for 2020. The IPHC Annual Meeting will take place in Anchorage, Feb. 3rd - 7th.
People who cannot attend the meeting in person can still participate in several ways:
