Water temperature:  58-62 in most area

Visibility: 1-2 foot

Hit the delta this past weekend with my dad and it didn’t disappoint. We launched the boat about 9 am and fished until 1pm. Stormy conditions forced us to put away the flipping stick and start burning the bank targets isolated tule islands with hydrilla clumps. We caught close to 20 fish from 3 to 5 pounds. Our bigger fish came on Optimum Baits Baby Boom Boom Line Thru Swimbait. We’ve found most of our bigger bites came waking it through hydrilla clumps. The fish aren’t everywhere, you have to cover some water but when you find one there is a few more around.

Hope this helps you on your next trip.
