My client John got everything he asked for yesterday on McCloud Reservoir. Watching the sun come up, listening to the birds chirp, Eagles and Osprey dive bombing for Trout, Mount Shasta poking its Majestic head out for a fishing photo op, all while trolling the glassy deep blue water of the reservoir. John and I cruised the lake for hours soaking up the peace an quiet of the cool morning while sipping on a hot cup coffee and munching a donut. Only to be interrupted by beautiful browns and rainbows that bit our offerings. Yes, there was fishing going on but sometimes just soaking in the cool crisp richness of the McCloud environment takes presidence. John harvested some tasty trout meat and his goal was simple. He just wanted a few trout for his campground smoker. I can only imagine the wonderful smell coming from that site. Job well done McCloud you provided another glorious experience with your simple beauty.
