The Truckee River is seeing consistent evening hatches of yellow sallies, pale morning duns, caddises. Anglers should also be on the lookout for green drakes. The water temperatures in the Truckee River are starting to warm up, but still remain in the 50s. Anglers can expect flows to be more skinny towards Lake Tahoe, while the Glenshire and Hirschdale areas are showing more consistent flows. 

FLOWS: Tahoe City 68 CFS, Glenshire 352 CFS, Boca Confluence 864 CFS, and Farad Exit 1,160 CFS

Bugs:  PMDs, Green Drakes, Skwalas, B.W.O’s, Midges, Worms, Crawdads, Sculpins, and Caddis
Gear:  9′-11′ 5-7wt rod with 9′-12′ 3x-5x leader
