“Better late than never” is the motto we’re rolling with, but regardless of our late start, things are looking very rosy for the upcoming summer. 

Last Friday June 12th we welcomed our first Cabin & RV guests and it all went quite smoothly and a good time was had by all. The gazillion hours of preparation and hard work was worth it. 

It is hard to articulate just how good it felt to have smiling happy people back in our canyon again enjoying our resort, the lake, hiking on the trails and making memories with their friends and families. 

The last few months have been terribly difficult for many, us included, but I think the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors is just the medicine we need...and having you all here was medicine for us. We needed the jolt of positive vibes in the worst way. 

We had a soft opening at South Lake on the 6th, but this was our first real weekend and it felt AWESOME to see boats motoring and kayaks paddling all around the lake. 

The hiking conditions are exceptional for this time of season and the water level at South Lake is also high for mid-June which is great news for fans of trout fishing or kayaking.
