We're in a typical early August pattern here on the Sacramento River, both above and below Red Bluff, Ca.  We're seeing some good numbers of salmon trickling in some days, but the very next day those fish can be gone from the holes we fished the day before.  Moving from one area to the next has been absolutely necessary some days in order to find some new salmon holding areas.  By mid August we should start to see some of the traditional holes filling with salmon, making them much easier to locate.  Having 3-4 boats on the river daily by the 3rd week of August will make it much easier to stay on top of the Sac River salmon migrations. Until then we're running two boats daily, trying to get our clients on the best possible fishing.  Please enjoy some of our client fish pic's from the last few days. August and September dates are nearly filled completely so we only have October thru December dates widely available right now.  If you haven't booked your Sac River King salmon trip yet, please give Jaynie a call at our office and she'll get you all the information you will need to lock down your fishing trip.  I would like to thank all of the fine folks that have booked King salmon trips again with us this year and to those who are fishing with us for the first time.  We truly appreciate and value your support!
