The delta is fishing well for numbers and quality fish right now and catching them on basically anything you want to throw. Topwater like Rico poppers and river2sea rovers in Shad patterns have been working all day long with some crazy explosions and landing some fish up to 6 pounds.

The punch bite still has been good in hyacinth mats. I’ve been sticking with craw colors like red or orange no matter if I’m punching, worming, or throwing a reaction bait around. I’ve fished a few areas on a incoming tide where I knew big ones are but for some reason I would go back on a outgoing and see our chances at catching bigger fish increase. But I did find a few grass flats that didn’t seem to matter when I rolled up on them. Higher tide you caught them tight lower tide they were more related to the edge. I’ve had some fun messing around with stripers as well. This is my favorite time of year to fish this place.

I have a few days left this month and still quite a few days free in November so call or text me if you are interested in a trip.
