Hot Creek still has a significant amount of snow hanging around and holding with the higher elevation. It is easier to walk in and fish the Interpretive Site and the canyon sections now with the hardened snow. Look for this to soften if we get some warmer weather soon. The BWO hatch is going pretty good now in the early afternoons. Have a rod rigged up with a #18 BWO to take advantage of this fun hatch. Egg patterns, #18 PT’s, #18-20 Midges, and San Juan Worms are working well when the fish are feeding below the surface. You can purchase our flies here.
