Some Bass Are Finally Showing Up

Some bass are finally showing up int eh shallows, their making their way up to the spacing grounds. Just the males are being caught, but the females are close behind. Vincent D. One of the Lake Murray regulars caught two very nice bass this week. One was 6 pound and the other was 5. Both caught while yoyoing Kastmaster. Jason Saberon and his grandfather Leroy caught a really nice trout 3 pounds on a tailspin and a nice bass on a Robo plastic worm, blue crawler.

Greeting from Lake Murray in La Mesa, CA. Fishing has been fair this week as the temperature drops. We have seen an increase of Catfish that are biting mainly on chicken livers and mackerel. Bass are biting either on the very top of very bottom. Try a frog on top and the plastics on the bottom. The Margarita mutalator has been reported doing well.
