With the weather being so erratic this past week the fishing on the reservoir was also kind of erratic. We had some good reports from shore anglers as well as some not so good reports, the same goes for the boat anglers. We talked to one pair of anglers who didn’t do so well in their boat but kept seeing shore anglers catching fish the whole time they were out there, this is fairly unusual and just goes to show you that you never know what might happen! We had some good reports from fly anglers stripping streamers down near the dam, as well as fishing midges under indicators. When it wasn’t too windy to be out on the water the trolling did ok with night crawlers, Rapalas and Thomas Bouyants. There were also some fish caught over near Rainbow Point fishing bait like pinched crawlers, inflated crawlers and mice tails.
