The summer bite is in full swing with all species being reeled in. Crappie are being on shinners that you will find in our bait shop on site. Bass are biting on plastics and senkos. You might want to try live crawdads also available here that the store. Bluegill continue to bite on small pieces of live worms. We have night crawlers, red and meal worms. Catfish are biting on the borrow with mackerel doing the job.

The bass bite is definitely an early morning bite. The largemouth are chasing the shad right after day break. The fish are gathering all around the tules and herding the bait fish back into the toes. Bluegill Are Controlling the Lake Right Now

Bluegill are controlling the lake right now. Crickets seem to be the ticket. Fish in or near the tules, but not limited to crickets the bluegill are pretty much wide open bitting meal worms and hammering wax worms. So if you are a pan fish addict nows the time.
