Boca Reservoir has heavy boat traffic in the middle of the day, but the fishing has been good here. If anglers are looking for nice size Kokanee, this is one of the better spots. Kokanee are biting from early morning until about 10am in the 40-50 foot water column. Anglers fishing for kokanee should use chrome or watermelon dodgers with various colored kokanee squids or green glow hoochies behind a dodger tipped with shoepeg corn. Shore anglers looking for trout are having success near the inlet and dam area using primarily nightcrawlers.
