The Shasta-Trinity Forest is open again along the McCloud River. The fishing above the lake in the Fowler's Campground and Falls area should be pretty good. However, we are still seeing a lot of brown water in the lower river, we can't recommend fishing the river below the lake at this time. There will be some clearing followed by another flow of the muddy water. The Upper Sacramento and Pit Rivers are great alternatives.
