Carson Now Reports
for Friday, November 26th, 2021Caples Lake: The ice has started to form, but is not safe to venture out on
Red Lake: As of this week the ice has not yet started to form on the lake
Blue Lake Lower: The gates are closed
Indian Creek Reservoir: The lake and surrounding area is scheduled to open on December 1st
West Carson River (CA): Fishing is open to catch and release artificial lures and fly with barbless hooks only
East Carson River (CA): Fishing is open to catch and release, artificial lures or flies with barbless hooks only
East Carson River (NV): The flows are good and have been fluctuating
Topaz Lake: The lake level has come up a few feet in the last couple weeks
West Walker River (CA): Open to catch and release fishing with artificial lures or flies only with barbless hooks

Taylor Creek: Closed Until 2022 Season
Caples Lake: The ice should be starting to form within the next month
Blue Lake Lower: The road is closed at the 1st gate
Burnside Lake: Burnside Road Update
Red Lake: The lake has started to get a little ice around the edges
Woods Lake: Closed for the season
Indian Creek Reservoir: Road Scheduled to open Nov. 30th
West Carson River (CA): The water was running low but the fishing is still active
East Carson River (CA): The river has cleared up after the rains we had last week
Heenan Lake : The lake will remain open until November 30th
Topaz Lake: No Annual Fishing Derby This Year
Bridgeport Reservoir: The lake level is still down, but has come up a few feet
