This WW we continue on the Merry Fishmas theme with a video of a fish salvage of Cave Lake which is being drained in preparation for a new dam. By draining the lake, the rebuilding should be completed in a year instead of the originally planned two to three years and be much safer for the contractor and workers The fish were taken to nearby Comins Lake. Once the dam is completed and the lake refilled NDOW will stock the lake with rainbow and brown trout. NDOW biologists are also exploring the possibility of adding smallmouth bass and/or tiger trout.
