South valley aqueduct fishing has been good for most anglers with numerous bass and striper reported. Striper went for cut baits, jumbo live shiners, and blood or lugworms. They also fell for artificial baits like A-rigs, Flukes, and jerkbaits. Largemouth fishing has been amazing for anglers willing to get up early to throw topwater lures. Out of respect to our sources we can’t divulge where the bass are biting, but I can tell you to talk with David at Cope’s. David has been reporting 20+ fish days in the aqueduct. Bass also fell for Senkos and drop shot fished in slower moving water. Catfish anglers reported decent fishing while using dip bait, fresh shrimp, and cut baits.
