There is still ice over much of Wolf Creek Reservoir. However, there is a band of open water around the edge of the reservoir. The water level is very low. The ice will probably melt quickly during warmer weather. Once the ice is gone, anglers will be able to fish from shore. However, the lake will need to rise about 10–15 feet before the boat ramp will be usable.
