The lake has been full with water levels holding between 90 and 92 percent of capacity. Daytime surface temperatures have been in the mid to upper fifties. Anglers reported fair fishing last week, but heavy winds kept most anglers off the water. Bass went for brown Texas rigged six-inch worms, drop shot, and creature baits in 5 to 35 feet of water. Most anglers targeted deeper water, but there have been bass tight to bluff walls lately. Crankbaits and jerkbaits got bite early and after the winds came up. Striper ate sardines, mackerel, and anchovies in the Marina, Yellowbar, and Serrano, but high winds made bait fishing difficult for boat anglers. Catfish ate many of the same baits as the striper in deeper coves around the lake. Trout anglers got a supersize this week when a load of trout got stocked on Tuesday.
