Winter steelhead fishing is winding down on the Alsea

The Kilchis River is getting low and clear again. Wild steelhead will are hitting peak spawning so be cautious of disturbing redds (spawning nest) or spawning fish. There are wild steelhead available for catch-and-release fishing throughout the fishery.
