Stampede Reservoir has an incredible Kokanee bite in the early morning. Anglers are easily reaching their limits fast and the Kokanee are a great size. Kokanee can be found in the 35 to 55 foot water column at Stampede. Anglers should use Pink hoochies, wedding rings, purple splatter spinners, or arctic trolling flies for kokanee. Shore anglers fishing for trout at Stampede should use powerbait, salmon eggs, or nightcrawlers.
Stampede Reservoir is currently at 53% capacity.
