Fishing was fair at BV last week with crappie as the best bet. Crappie anglers used minijigs under a bobber to score limits. Small live minnows were also a good bait choice for the panfish. Bass anglers reported tough conditions with tightlipped bass. Successful anglers used Senkos near the cattails, and a few fish were reported by anglers throwing spinnerbaits. Catfish ate nightcrawlers, dip bait, and anchovies.
