The Kokanee fishing is still good at Stampede Reservoir. Kokanee are averaging around 15 inches in length and are biting in the 80 foot water column. Towards the dam, Kokanee are biting a bit deeper right around 140 feet. Some recommended bait for Kokanee to use are Green glow hoochies with a watermelon dodger or a Paulina Peak moon glow dodger with a purple glow spinner. These bait choices seem to be working the best. Anglers fishing for trout at Stampede Reservoir should focus in the Davies creek arm or in the middle of the lake.
Stampede Reservoir is currently at 51% capacity.
