Howdy everyone! Check out this healthy bass that was caught out of Lake 5 the other day! The bass are still biting even as the weather is beginning to cool down. Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, worms, and soft plastics have still been working pretty well.

The catfish season is now over and we are gearing up for the Trout season opener in just a week. In the meantime the catfish are still plenty active. They have been biting well on stinkbait, mackerel, nightcrawlers, and shrimp. Our last catfish stock was On October 1st with 3,500 lbs of catfish. The Trout opener will kickstart on November 4th and as usual there will be a line to get into the park in the morning so make sure to get here early if you have a favorite spot you want to set up at! Lakes 2,3,4,6, and 7 will be stocked with a total of 3,500 lbs of trout being stocked.
