Striped bass fell for cut sardines, anchovies, and jumbo live minnows after check gates. Lure anglers reported tougher conditions, but there were a few takers on bright colored jerkbaits and rattling lipless crankbaits. Largemouth took drop shot 4” plastics in white, green pumpkin, and purple near slower moving water. Catfish anglers did well soaking Triple S Dip Bait, chicken liver, and cut sardines. On angler showed off a nice stringer of whisker fish with several catfish between five and ten pounds.
