Good report from the Powerhouse 2 riffle yesterday, some Green Drakes were coming off and fish were eating the nymphs regularly. A strong midge hatch in the morning was followed with a good Baetis/Blue Wing Olives in the afternoon. There are not a lot of weeds right now, so keep an eye on your presentations if you are head hunting in the flats below the riffle. BP Weiss nymph, light or dark, for a nymph and a #20 Green Paradun extended body BWO for the fish looking to eat on the surface. Rubberlegs underneath an indicator, highsticked, or underneath a Chubby Chernobyl is working in the areas north of the 299 bridge. Small black caddis are coming off in the afternoons, a #16-18 Bird's Nest is working for those circumstances.
Hot Flies: TB Drowned Rusty Spinner, Rubberlegs, Sweet Pea Jigged Baetis, Pheasant Tails, Mercer's Missing Link, and Green Drakes
