Tuesday Updates
Update 1:30 PM: The San Diego just checked in with 4 Bluefin weighing in from 50 to 100 pounds and one more still on the line! Captain Matt reported that 40# flyline, sinker rig setups with a heavier torpedo weight or 150-200g knife jigs were the hot ticket.
The Polaris Supreme is off to a good start on the nicer grade Bluefin. They have 15 fish on the boat up to 165lbs! Captain Aliyar reported that conditions are making a change for the better and has high hopes for the remainder of their trip.
The Tribute returned from a 1.5 Day this morning with 13 Bluefin and 10 Yellowtail for their 12 anglers.
Monday Updates
The New Seaforth had some great Calico Bass action this Afternoon, they caught 35 and released 40 for 9 anglers. There is plenty of availability on our Half-Day's this week on the New Seaforth. Both the AM and Pm trips tomorrow are a Definite run!
The Sea Watch ended their Full Day today with 27 Yellowtail for their 12 anglers. The Sea Watch has spots available for Saturday, be sure to take a look before they are all gone.
The San Diego ended their day today with 5 Yellowtail and 2 Bluefin for their 30 anglers. They were in a new area with good signs of bluefin, the two fish they caught today were 70 and 90 pounds. Captain Matt recommended having a 25-30# flyline setup, a 40-50# setup for casting dart style jigs and a 60-80# rig for fishing the sinker rig if you're coming out fishing soon.
