Our striper bite is going well. We are catching smaller ones mixed with some larger fish occasionally. Please remember to re-tie your line after a successful hook up. Local angler Mike Merritt had success using anchovies while fishing off his jet ski in the upper big bend area. These fish are perfect for a delicious meal. There have been reports of rainbow trout being caught near Community Park and a few at Rotary Park as well. We haven't heard much about Lake Mohave yet due to strong winds keeping most anglers away. The marsh area has yielded a few catfish and stripers, while the largemouth bass are currently protecting their fry, but that should end soon.
