Carson City has planned to open the Ash Canyon Road to Hobart Reservoir in western Nevada on July 16. If you’re unfamiliar with the road it’s good to know ahead of time that even in the best shape, access requires a 4wd with good clearance. Fishing at Hobart is sure to be excellent this season with the cooler temperatures and abundance of water. Get out there and enjoy what northern Nevada has to offer!
