Spinner falls in the morning through about 11:00 or so are keeping fish pinned in the seams and eddies around the weed beds just off current. The are Baetis, PMDs and Callibaetis hatching now, so bring all three if you want to do well. Most predominant are the PMDs, although that can vary by the day. For the spinners you will want to try the CDC Biot Spinner in PMD, during the hatch a #14-16 PMD Challenged is a good choice. For nymphs, the Sweet Pea, olive and brown S&Ms #16 & 18, Olive Hotspot in #18, and the Red Headed Stepchild and RK Sin City in #18 are all good ones to have in your box. Tricos are just beginning to hatch now. The Hex can be fun if it's happening. Keep your eyes open for Caddis and always have some leeches ready to swing in the deep holes.
Hot Flies: TB Drowned Rusty Spinner, PMD's, Norman's Wiggletails, Pheasant Tails, Mercer's Missing Link, Zug Bugs, and Leeches.
