Great reports back from the first 2 weeks of the season. Healthy trout averaging 17 inches with a few 20 plus showing up already.  NDOW crews were recently up at Knott Creek Reservoir checking access, water levels, and working on a fish survey. The reservoir is accessible from both the north and south roads. The south road going up Cove Creek is in better shape than the road from the north.  Water is over the road that goes around the east side of Knott Creek Reservoir, so access around the reservoir will not be possible. 4-wheel drive vehicles with good clearance and off-road tires are recommended.
