At Donner Lake, trolling for trout and kokanee near the boat ramp and west end beach is still doing well for anglers. Kokanee are biting on wedding rings, Rocky Mountain tackle super squids, and hum dingers in copper and orange. Anglers trolling for trout at Donner lake are recommended to use a night crawler behind a chrome dodger. Shore anglers are still finding a decent morning bite by the docks on the west end and the shoreline park using powerbait and worms off the bottom or rooster tails. Donner Lake is at 90% capacity.
