The river is super on the lower end down on Bollibokka, so the clarity up on Ah-Di-Na and the Conservancy should be good as well. This is the time of year you should have the October Caddis pupas on, swing, dead drift, or high-stick them. Mercer's TB October Pupa or Skip's BH October Pupa both are good ones to have. Rubberlegs in all the sizes and colors are a must, you never know which one is 'The One.' Olive Hotspots are working on the low end of the river, and everywhere else for that matter, so why not here? PG&E is working on the dam, so the road just past the turnoff on the lake should still be closed. October is a great time to fish the McCloud!
