Steelhead fishing will be open for this year as we've reached our minimum target of returning wild adults over Bonneville Dam. With recent cool and wet weather, steelhead have begun moving into the lower river.
Flows remain low but not impossible for a drift boat to navigate. There are also bank accessible areas around Cottonwood Canyon State Park, and smaller inflatables can work well while flows are low.
Bass fishing is still a great option, and the bass fishing remains good, although flows will preclude the use of most watercraft.
