Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

We're currently enjoying a great striper season, and our local anglers have been successful in landing some of our larger stripers during this time of year. Richard Erdmann, a local angler, recently achieved just that by catching a nice striper measuring 35 and 3/4 inches, weighing in at 16.96 pounds. He was fishing from the shore a bit downstream from Harrah's Casino on the Arizona side of the river. Richard was using his favorite lure, a white-patterned swimbait, to catch his fish.

It's worth noting that the lower end of Community Park and the Nature Center area have also been producing some good results. On Lake Mohave, it's a bit tricky due to unpredictable weather conditions. The wind often keeps small craft in the bay. With our current low water levels, fishing from the shore is your best option. When you can get out on the lake, it's a bit of a challenge to locate the fish as they tend to move around. However, I've heard reports of some fish boils near the basin and the islands on the Nevada side, and trolling along the basin's edges has been a successful tactic.

Below the Davis Dam, we're receiving weekly rainbow trout plants from the Willow Beach Hatchery. We hope this information proves helpful for your fishing adventures. We look forward to welcoming you to share your catches, and we appreciate your continued support.

Now, go catch a fish! Rusty Riviera Marina 520 Riviera Blvd. Bullhead City, AZ 928-763-8550
