The water has cooled down and trout and bass have come closer to the surface. Float N' Fly rigs or balance leeches will be the best tactic. Trout will start congregating around the dam during the colder weather.

Sacramento River - Lower: This is a solid choice right now if you want to get in a good day of fishing
Pit River: Pit 3 down to the Pit 5 powerhouse is still fishing great
Trinity River: The last rain bumped the flows in the lower sections and added just a tinge of color
Sacramento River - Upper: The upper river is in great shape, and the rains brought the flows up on the lower end down by the lake

McCloud River: The McCloud continues to fish very well
Trinity River: Seeing one of the best years on this tailwater Steelhead fishery in a very long time
