Coho fishing on Siltcoos and Tahkenitch lakes is still open, however the fishery is certainly winding down. The Siltcoos dam is not controlled by ODFW and we have no control over when the dam is opened to let fish come through into the lake. ‌

Coho are definitely in the lake and being caught although not in large numbers as we move into the latter half of the season. With the rains last week and the week prior we should hopefully see another flush of fish coming into the lake. ‌

Check out the fingers of the lakes for incoming coho and try trolling along the banks or casting spinners into covered bank areas
