Winter steelhead are starting to show up in the Hood River, but not many fish have returned over Bonneville yet. Steelhead returns will increase through the New Year, with the run generally peaking mid-March. The bag limit is 3 hatchery steelhead per day. ‌

During the winter months, Hood River flows can be dynamic during rain or snow events. Check water levels before you fish.
