This week Isabella held at 36 percent of capacity. The DFWL stocked trout here last week. The bite has been fair to good with Get Bent Baits, garlic scented Powerbait, spinners and pinched crawlers. The bass fishing has been best around primary lake points at depths to 35 feet. Anglers fishing main and secondary points have had success with deep diving crankbaits, jigs, big worms, and crawdad Chasebaits. With the recent trout plants, trout imitation baits are a good option for better grade fish. The catfish bite has remained solid on SSS Dip Bait, mackerel and nightcrawlers. The best action here at Isabella goes to Crappie. Anglers continue to score nice stringers of Crappie from Reds Marina and the South Fork with live shiners and crappie jigs.
