The Nestucca remains high and probably will be through the weekend

The Nestucca remains high and probably will be through the weekend, although it may green up by then. Whenever it does come back into good shape, I expect there to be hatchery and wild (catch-and-release only for wilds) steelhead throughout the fishery. Hatchery steelhead on the Nestucca are from wild broodstock and as such peak January through March.
