The bite at Pyramid remains a bit spotty this week. If you land on the right beach with good conditions, you can have some incredible days, if not.. well, it’s going to be a grind. At the end of the day, it’s damn near impossible to know the when and where’s out here and there’s always going to be a good amount of guess work.

If it ends up being slow, just sit back enjoy the scenery (with you fly in the water) and a lot of times when you’re staring off into the lake’s immense beauty is when that fish decides to take. No, really.. this happens way too often for it to be a coincidence!

We are still having best luck under the indicator, but we expect the strip bite to pick up in the coming weeks as the fish begin to come in to the shallower beaches and exhibit their pre-spawn behavior. As we come into what is considered the prime months for Pyramid, we are very well stocked on everything you need for a successful day out here; rods, reels, lines, nets and flies, as well as the first-hand experience of hundreds of hours at the lake this year alone. We’ve got you covered!
