The Kilchis will be one of the first basins to come back in shape after the high water on Wednesday and should be fishable by late in the week and through the weekend. Expect fair to good opportunity with the catch mostly consisting of wild steelhead (catch-and-release only). ‌

The Mapes Creek (logging bridge) boat ramp was damaged in the December storm and is still closed. Boaters should use extreme caution and check the ramp before launching there.
