The past few days, Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort and Shasta Lake provided some fantastic Brown and Rainbow Trout fishing and "well" the scenery speaks for itself.

What else needs to said? The Trout action at Shasta and Siskiyou Lakes has been pretty darn hard to beat. Simply check out the pictures for yourself. Trolling the surface down to 35 feet with bait, flies, plugs, and spoons, have provided steady action on Brown and Rainbow Trout in the 1 to 7 pound class, with 1 to 3 pounders providing the bulk of the action. 

Many of these Trout jump, rip drag and fight hard when hooked. All of these Trout are excellent table fair, if you choose to keep and most have beautiful orange meat, fantastic for the BBQ or Smoker.
