The Fall River valley is warming up and the river is beginning to come to life. With this warming trend the insects should begin coming off soon. Most anglers are concentrating on other streams in the area, but this is one you should keep on your radar for May. We have a trip on the books this weekend and will report back on what is going on. Sacramento River - Lower: Lake Shasta is topping up with a lot of cold water
McCloud River: The clarity on the lake gage is very good, so this should be a good option
Pit River: Pit 3 flows were bumped the second week this month and are not a stable 480 CFS
Trinity River: The Spring pulse flows will begin next Tuesday, April 16th
Sacramento River - Upper: Beginning to see signs of runoff
