Gene St. Denis of Blue Ribbon Charters and Tahoe Trophy Trout at South Lake Tahoe, Calif. (530-544-6552): The fishing has been tough, from slow to good, dependent on the day. We are getting 0-5 Macks per trip, and they are in the 2-14 pound range.

We have been trolling at all levels from 50 feet deep down to the bottom at 350 feet. I've been fishing at Cal-Neva, Dollar and Sugar Pine Points.

Fly fishing club meets on Apr. 4

The Carson Fly Fishing Club will hold its regular club meeting on Wednesday evening, Apr. 4. The evening's guest speaker will be Chris Wharton of Stillwater Guide Service and he will give a program on the techniques for fishing local waters.
