We're seeing some great coastal rockfishing along our territory, with 10 fish limits for everyone onboard every trip including some hefty cabezon, lots of quality browns, a sprinkling of canaries along with a few nice vermillion, and today 15 lingcod for 21 anglers was a great bonus, as well as a 10 pound halibut.  We're releasing a lot of short lingcod, too.  I hear bars have not been great, but our good old HMB shrimp flies with a strip of squid or a strip of other bait has been the best bet overall.  Plastics have been doing fairly well, too.  Some of the best weather conditions on the ocean, especially for the month of May, looks like it will continue through at least the end of next week.
