ATTENTION BOATERS: There is a full span tree across the river between 4th and 5th bridge. Early reports are that it is impassable unless you can drag your boat over or around it, use extreme caution. ‌

Spring Chinook fishing picked up in the Nestucca last week as the rain brought fresh fish into the lower river. There were fish caught from 1st bridge all the way down to tidewater. There should be springers throughout the fishery now and fresh fish will keep coming in throughout the month.‌

The rains also brought hatchery summer steelhead into the Nestucca and there were some fish caught, mostly in the lower river (below Three Rivers). Fish should be making their way to the upper river, and fresh steelies should continue to come in throughout the month. ‌

Cutthroat trout fishing should be fair to good, with fish spread through the river system.
